Careers

Build ambitious software
with a senior team.

We’re a small, independent studio building custom web platforms, dashboards, mobile apps and AI automation for businesses and agencies. We’re growing the core team with three senior roles. Every one of them works directly with clients and ships real products.

Location
Remote-first, with the team split between Portugal and Uzbekistan
Contract
Full-time, as an employee or a long-term contractor
Languages
English is required; Russian or Uzbek is a plus
Experience
At least 5 years in the role for every open position

Open roles

Three positions are open right now. Each is a senior role: we expect at least five years of relevant, hands-on experience.

Business Manager

Own the commercial side of the studio: new clients, agency partnerships, proposals and the relationships that keep projects healthy from the first call to launch.

  • Remote · Portugal / Uzbekistan
  • Full-time
  • 5+ years

What you’ll do

  • Run the pipeline end to end: qualify inbound leads, lead discovery calls, scope engagements with the engineering team and write proposals and contracts.
  • Build and manage partnerships with design and marketing agencies that need an engineering partner.
  • Own client relationships during delivery: expectations, change requests, budgets and renewals.
  • Track revenue, margins and team utilisation, and report on them to the founder every month.
  • Represent the studio in Portugal, Uzbekistan and online: events, communities, outbound outreach.

What we look for

  • 5+ years in business development, account management or client services at a software company, IT consultancy or digital agency.
  • A track record of selling and scoping custom software or product development work, with deals in the tens of thousands.
  • Comfortable in technical conversations: you can explain an API integration, an MVP scope or a delivery risk to a non-technical client.
  • Fluent English; Russian or Uzbek for the Central Asian market is a strong plus.
  • Structured and self-directed: you run your own CRM, calendar and follow-ups without being asked.

Nice to have

  • Experience with public tenders or enterprise procurement
  • An existing network among agencies or founders in Portugal or Uzbekistan
  • Familiarity with pricing models for software services: fixed scope, retainers, time and materials

Fullstack Developer

Design, build and ship production software across the stack: web platforms, dashboards, APIs and the mobile and AI features that sit on top of them.

  • Remote · Portugal / Uzbekistan
  • Full-time
  • 5+ years

What you’ll do

  • Own features end to end: data model, API, UI, tests and deployment.
  • Build with our core stack: TypeScript, React and Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, deployed to AWS or GCP with Docker and CI/CD.
  • Design integrations with third-party systems: payments, CRMs, marketplaces and LLM APIs.
  • Review code, set engineering standards and mentor other developers on the project.
  • Talk to clients directly when it helps: clarify requirements, demo progress, explain trade-offs.

What we look for

  • 5+ years building and running production web applications, at least 3 of them with TypeScript and React.
  • Strong backend fundamentals: relational data modelling, SQL, REST or GraphQL API design, authentication, caching and background jobs.
  • Experience owning deployments and infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, one major cloud provider.
  • You write tests as part of the work, not after it, and you can debug across the whole stack.
  • Working English for daily communication, documentation and code review.

Nice to have

  • React Native or Expo for iOS and Android
  • Building products on LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) and agent workflows
  • Python for data or automation work
  • Agency or consultancy experience, working on several products in parallel

Product Manager

Turn client ambitions into products that ship: discovery, scope, specifications and the decisions in between, working side by side with engineers.

  • Remote · Portugal / Uzbekistan
  • Full-time
  • 5+ years

What you’ll do

  • Lead discovery with clients: understand the business, users and constraints, and turn them into a clear scope and roadmap.
  • Write specifications, user flows and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from without guesswork.
  • Prioritise ruthlessly: plan milestones, run sprints, and protect scope and budget when requirements shift.
  • Set up analytics and success metrics, and use them to drive decisions after launch.
  • Own communication with stakeholders: demos, status updates, decisions and their trade-offs.

What we look for

  • 5+ years as a product manager or product owner on software products, ideally including custom or B2B work for external clients.
  • You have shipped products end to end, from discovery to launch and iteration, more than once.
  • Technical fluency: you understand APIs, data models, integrations and release processes well enough to challenge estimates.
  • Strong writing: your specs, tickets and updates are clear enough to work asynchronously across time zones.
  • Fluent English; Russian or Uzbek is a plus for working with clients in Central Asia.

Nice to have

  • UX or UI design skills: wireframes and prototypes in Figma
  • Experience with dashboards, CRMs or internal tools
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows and where they fit in a product

How we hire

Four conversations, no puzzles.

01

Introduction

A 30-minute call about you, the role and the studio. We answer your questions too.

02

Role interview

60–90 minutes with the founder on your experience: a system design discussion for engineers, a case study for product and business roles.

03

Practical task

A short, realistic task close to the actual work, sized to a few hours. We review it together and talk through your decisions.

04

Offer

Reference check, then a written offer with the contract type, compensation and start date. We aim to close the whole process within three weeks.

How we work

Remote, with overlap

Work from Portugal, Uzbekistan or elsewhere, with at least four hours of overlap with the Lisbon and Tashkent working day.

Senior by default

Small team, no layers. You talk to clients directly and own your decisions.

Modern tooling

GitHub, Figma and AI tools such as Claude and Codex for research and routine work. Judgement and review stay human.

Real products

Every role touches software that goes into production for real businesses, not internal prototypes.
